Using HARO as a Way to Showcase Your Expertise

Dustin Christensen, writing at the blawg called Lawyerist.com -- the law practices survival guide, describes a relationship -- through Help Out A Reporter (HARO) -- lawyers can establish with reporters to showcase their expertise and, as a by-product, gain some free marketing. When I viewed the website, it offers paid subscription packages, but also "Basic Free" opportunities delivered to your inbox, three times a day.  I assume Dustin was describing this free relationship.

  1. Thanks for mentioning the article Paula. You're right, the info in the article is based on the free relationship. I think the comments lose sight of the article's main point, which is that there is a media process in place that lawyers can use, should they be able to offer something insightful to reporters.
